Norse Gold Corp. is engaged in the exploration and development of natural resources in Canada. The Company’s prime asset is its Yellowknife gold property located in the Northwest Territories, 75 kilometres north of Yellowknife, along the extension of a world class gold district where over 15 million oz. of gold has been recovered.

The Team

Carl G. Verley, B.Sc., P. Geo. — CEO, President & Director

Mr. Verley joined the Board in 2017. He is a graduate of the University of BC (BSc ’74), and a Professional Geoscientist, registered in B.C. and the Northwest Territories and Nunavut, with over 35 years experience in the mineral exploration industry. His recent focus has been on diamond, gold, and lithium projects. Carl has been responsible for generation and management of exploration projects. He has served as a director of a number of public companies over his career, with extensive Board experience in M & A, corporate governance, and compensation.

Ray Hodgkinson B.Sc., P.Eng. — Director

Mr. Raymond John Hodgkinson resides in Canada and has both substantial public company and natural resource experience. Mr. Hodgkinson has previously worked as an engineering consultant to Striker Exploration Corp., Exoro Energy Inc. and Ripper Oil & Gas Inc. He has been an Independent Director of Westcore Energy Ltd. since March 2007 and a Director of Troy Energy Corp. since September 2009. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Aztek Energy Ltd. from June 1, 2006 to January 2010. He served as a Director of Tembo Gold Corp (formerly Lakota Resources Inc.) from October 2009 to July 15, 2011. He has 40 years of experience in the natural resources sector and is a Member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta. Mr. Hodgkinson received Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from University of Calgary in June 1977.

James Owen, B.Comm, CPA, CA — CFO

James Owen is a graduate of Mount Allison University (1974) and is a Chartered Accountant, CPA. During the last thirty five years he has been involved in the financial and administrative areas of public companies. He has extensive experience in the natural resource exploration industry in Canada and internationally. Mr. Owen has served as a Director and Officer of numerous public companies during the past thirty five years and is currently Chief Financial Officer of Norse Gold Corp.

Thomas MacNeill, CPA, CGA - Director

Mr. MacNeill is the President, Chief Executive Officer ( “CEO”) and a director of Omineca Mining and Metals Ltd, a BC based resource company developing gold resources in the Caribou Mining District. He is President, CEO and a director of 49 North Resources Inc. Mr. MacNeill is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan and is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a CPA, CGA. With over 25 years in the resource investment and corporate finance industry, Mr. MacNeill ‘s work history includes positions as Investment Advisor and Chief Financial Officer of a trust company.

Paul Bolger, LL.B, M.B.A — Corporate Secretary

Paul Bolger is a partner with Tingle Merrett LLP, a Calgary-based corporate and securities law boutique firm, with a practice focused on corporate securities, corporate finance and commercial transactions involving emerging, growth and mid-capitalization companies. Mr. Bolger has extensive experience acting for public and private companies in a range of matters including equity and debt financings, public and private corporate acquisitions and business combinations, continuous disclosure obligations, share and asset acquisitions and dispositions, corporate restructurings, amalgamations, reorganizations and other business transactions.
